The City of Sisseton is asking its residents to take a quick look at their main water pipes to find out if they are lead. All you need is a magnet, a coin or key to scratch the pipe at its base and a camera to take & send a photo. (It took me more time to find a magnet than it did to do this!) The Sisseton Courier is hosting April's Business After Hours on Wednesday the 17th from 5-7pm. They are located at 117 Oak St. East in Sisseton and have been our community's source for news for over 132 years! Come visit with Sylvia and the gang as they give you a glimpse of their historic business. There will be a Shop Tour at 6pm as well. Anyone is welcome to stop by and learn more about what the Sisseton Courier has to offer!

Hey there festive folks of Sisseton! This Saturday, March 16th from 7pm - 1am, let's patronize Sisseton's many watering holes for the St. Patrick's Day Bar Crawl! Buffalo Lanes is sponsoring the event and will be the last stop on your travels. Follow the rainbow to Rosalie's, The End Zone, Valley View Country Club and Soirée 417 along the way. Head over to the downstairs of the Sisseton Memorial Library from 6-8pm tomorrow, Thursday, Feb. 8th from 6-8pm & every 2nd Thursday of the month from here on out! It's open to any and all young artists from middle school through high school to come together, learn techniques, and work on their own projects. It's also a great opportunity to collaborate with local artists! Bring your own supplies or some will be provided. This week's focus will be creating ARTIST TRADING CARDS!


This month, Wireless World is hosting the event on Thursday, February 15th! This monthly meetup is held at a new location to encourage networking among the city’s business leaders & employees.
