Hey there wonderful folks of Sisseton, there is a poorly written ballot measure coming up in the November election that will greatly impact our small community, as well as all of the other great places in our state. We strongly encourage you to VOTE NO on IM28. This measure will take away the grocery tax in South Dakota, which sounds great but will create an estimated $315,866 shortfall in our city's budget alone, and $176 million statewide! The state has no plan set to remedy this slash to their funding, which means that they will have to implement funding through other sources like an income tax and large budget buts across the board. Go to https://nosdincometax.com for more information.

Head over to Rosalie's (TONIGHT during BINGO & TOMORROW BEFORE 1pm) for a chance to win 2 Minnesota Vikings tickets to the Lions game this weekend with the Vikings Board! $25 gets you a square. The grand prize also includes $250 in Chamber Cheques; we will also give away $100, $50, & $25 in Chamber Cheques to others drawn. You don't have to be present to win. Make checks payable to Sisseton Area Chamber of Commerce.
*This is the same drawing during Celebrate Sisseton Days. There was a mixup with the game tickets so if you already entered before, you are entered here TWICE! Call Nick Blaske for any questions at (605) 698-7261
