Head over to the Sisseton Fire Hall for the Annual Sisseton Volunteer Fire Department Fish Fry Fundraiser on tonight, Friday, March 22nd from 5pm - 8pm for all you can eat fish, fries and coleslaw. Thanks to everyone for supporting our local Fire Department in making our community safe!

Head over to The downstairs of the Sisseton Memorial Library from 6 - 8pm. It's FREE and open to any and all young artists from middle school
through high school!
Hey there festive folks of Sisseton! This Saturday, March 16th from 7pm - 1am, let's patronize Sisseton's many watering holes for the St. Patrick's Day Bar Crawl! Buffalo Lanes is sponsoring the event and will be the last stop on your travels. Follow the rainbow to Rosalie's, The End Zone, Valley View Country Club and Soirée 417 along the way. And as always, the Sisseton Community Transit will be offering FREE RIDES all night for anyone participating, for safe travels to each location. Call (605) 268-0469 for a lift. Head over to the downstairs of the Sisseton Memorial Library from 6-8pm tomorrow, Thursday, Feb. 8th from 6-8pm & every 2nd Thursday of the month from here on out! It's open to any and all young artists from middle school through high school to come together, learn techniques, and work on their own projects. It's also a great opportunity to collaborate with local artists! Bring your own supplies or some will be provided. This week's focus will be creating ARTIST TRADING CARDS!

The Sisseton Area Community Foundation (SACF) recently donated $1,200.00 to NESD Head Start (Sisseton area) for their Sweet Dreams Project. SACF Board Member Jane Schneider (right) is shown presenting the check to Jaci Wolfe, Family Service Coordinator for NESD Head Start Preschool in the Sisseton Area. Through the Sweet Dreams Project packages including pajamas, a book, a blanket and a plush toy will be distributed to three- and four-year-old children enrolled in the local Head Start Preschool. The Sisseton Area Community Foundation accepts donations that are placed in an endowed fund with the South Dakota Community Foundation. SACF uses interest from these funds to make grants to non-profit organizations in the Sisseton area.

Sisseton regular season events hosted in Ben Reifel gymnasium or the north practice facility will again be available to view free of charge via NFHS Livestream. While you do have to create an account, you do not have to purchase access to the livestream.
